About CelebriDucks
Dear Friend,
Thank you for your interest in our company. Celebriducks is the original creator of the first ever collectible celebrity rubber ducks of the greatest icons of film, music, athletics, and history. We have produced Celebriducks for the NBA, Major League Baseball, the NHL, NASCAR, NCAA Collegiate Mascots,
and also people such as KISS, James Brown, The Blues Brothers, Charlie Chaplin, Mr. T, Shakespeare, the Osbournes, and many others. To date we have created over 200 different Celebriducks! Our exclusive limited edition collection will continually expand and change as new Celebriducks are introduced while others are quietly retired to the pond with graceful dignity.
Our company began as an offshoot of my original company, Name That Toon where we developed the first ever animation art lines for Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch, M&M/Mars, Pillsbury, Campbell Soup, Hershey, and many others. We took the advertising artwork from their television commercials and developed a whole line of artwork representing some of the most beloved characters in advertising history including The Pillsbury Doughboy, The Budweiser Frogs, the Coca-Cola Polar Bears, and numerous other characters. The company grew to become the largest publisher of advertising/animation art in the country.
We started developing the Celebriducks around 1998 as just a little fun side project. My daughter, Rebecca, a product design major, designed the entire line in the beginning. When the Philadelphia 76ers read about us, they asked us if we could create a duck of superstar Allen Iverson complete with tattoos, cornrows, and earring for a stadium give-a-way. It came out extremely well and I would always joke that our duck looked more like him than he did! After the 76ers event took place, we began to receive a great deal of national and international attention. It quickly became apparent that I had to let go of one of our companies so I made a decision to sell off the art business. We changed our name and suddenly we became all ducks! Truly the quote by John Lennon, that "life is what happens when you're busy making other plans," could not have been more appropriate.
Most people agree that Celebriducks are some of the finest rubber ducks on the market. They each come in their own individual container and all new ducks for 2005 have our new Hollywood themed box which beautifully show off our little creations. The sculpting and detail we put into each one is extraordinary and all ducks have the edition number written on the bottom.
Celebriducks are sold around the world and we continue to receive a tremendous amount of publicity. We have been on NBC, FOX,
ABC,
CBS Evening Magazine (three times), CNN, ESPN, TNT, VH1,
A&E and most other television networks, not to mention Sports Illustrated, U.S. News & World Report, ESPN The Magazine, N.Y. Times, USA Today, LA Times, Maxim, S.F. Chronicle, Chicago Sun Times, Playboy, Fortune Small Business, etc. We have been on The Tonight Show twice and were featured in the Entertainment Weekly Holiday Gift Guide of the top 100 gifts of 2001.
Our ducks have also been successfully given away at major league sporting events and have been sponsored by companies such as Reebok, Dr. Pepper, Gatorade, AOL/TimeWarner, Southwest Airlines, Arby’s, Adidas, Mountain Dew, Chevrolet, Sprite, Dodge, Clarinex, Suburu, Pepsi, Office Depot, Toyota, Sierra Mist, and many others. In fact, ESPN ran a poll on their website for the fan’s favorite stadium give-a-way and Celebriducks won, beating out Bobbleheads, Beanie Babies, Pez Dispensers, Lunch Boxes, and Match Box Cars.
I invite you to become part of our rapidly growing family of collectors who adore one of the world's universally loved icons, the rubber duck. When good taste in fine bathing is desired, I hope you will think of our Celebriducks. And remember, don't leave your tub without one.
Sincerely,
Craig Wolfe
President
